Certified in wellness education, mindfulness, and integrative change work, I'm an award-winning educator with an M.A. in Educational Leadership & over 20 years of experience in program development and delivery.
I've dedicated myself to finding the practices that make a measurable difference coping with stress, but first I was a social worker and a classroom teacher.

Education
I taught foster parents social-emotional learning strategies, received awards for my classroom teaching and curriculum development, and trained hundreds of high school teachers as a Coordinator of Curriculum and Instruction.
I went on to earn an M.A. in Educational Leadership with a focus on educational equity and served on the Executive Boards and Councils of multiple schools and non-profits. I absolutely loved my work, but long days without any wellbeing support took their toll.

My burnout recovery was a transformational journey that lead me to change my own relationship to stress. Along the way I studied and earned certification in a set of skills that form the basis of my personal stress resilience and the practices I share with others.

Recently, I've spent over a thousand hours combing through the latest research on the nervous system, mindfulness, and wellbeing, to curate the findings and train future meditation teachers as a Guest Lecturer at the Joy of Yoga School of Integrative Learning. I've published articles on wellbeing for Breathe Together Yoga's online resource library.
I've coached leaders, parents, teachers & professionals on the best tools and practices to support their mental & emotional wellbeing, and helped them make these practices a powerful & simple habit.
